第八號當鋪開到德國，大笑男孩被誤導用笑容換取逢賭必贏能力的“等價物”。惡魔的貪念和男孩抱著堅定信念不妥協地生長相抗爭，過分地在好人壞人的處理上臉譜化，奇幻外殼的故事也只揭示一個不能再簡單的道理。像全球正太字幕組這樣繼續翻譯冷門兒童片，也算是見識見識。小男孩的笑感染力不強。

太感人了，小演員都好棒

為了像Troye小時候的超可愛小正太男主也給滿分，希望別長殘！影片有布達佩斯大飯店歐式儀式感的佈景和配色，本應是腦洞大開的題材卻沒發揮好。惡魔從穿著打扮和使用的黑科技來看來自現代也許諷刺了一把現代資本主義是魔鬼，抑制貪慾才是破解之道？否則笑容能戰勝惡魔的主題實在太像小朋友童話了
