南北戰爭教科書式電影

將軍的一生，又一部戰爭史詩。

相對客觀地反映了南北戰爭。北方的立場，南方白人的立場（自由與獨立），南方黑人的立場（我要解放）。《亂世佳人》相對更偏南方，《光榮》偏北方。中間穿插南北愛爾蘭人的對射非常有意義，悠揚的笛聲中，南方愛爾蘭人流著淚說北方愛爾蘭旅忘了他們的父輩是如何在愛爾蘭對抗英格蘭爭取獨立的。是，於當時美利堅的國家整合意識程度來說，獨立是合規的，你南下就是侵略；這和中國是不一樣的，中國家國意識已經形成，江西人絕對不會認為河北人入侵，只是認為這是統一戰爭。另外，這部電影貢獻了三處第一次：第一次見南北戰爭的巷戰；第一次見排槍戰術還有用掩體的，南方的兄弟不地道啊；第一次見排槍戰術時代還有襲營的。

南北戰爭這段歷史的最好註解。

即使用最粗俗的話喊出自由，也是異常的震撼人心。不過煽情的太多了
