3.5，改編俄國Leskov的"穆森斯克郡的馬克白夫人"，背景放到19世紀的英國鄉間。沒配樂，冷冰冰的，人物推動稍微生硬了。但視角特別。本來以為是性別的壓迫，後來發現其實是講階級。受壓迫而後壓迫人。哪有那麼多愛，更多的是慾望，在關口上則毫不留情的輾壓了更低微弱小的人

這部片子同原著比，最驚豔之處就在於把結局改了。原著的結局是女主被揭發，而電影則更狠一些：女主裝純裝到底，利用世俗對女性“軟弱、情緒化”的偏見，成功地把所有讓她感到不爽的人幹掉。牛逼的毒婦，贊！

在自我毀滅前，委屈憤怒和自衛的本能迴光返照，洩成腐蝕一切的膿液。在新版呼嘯山莊之後催出英格蘭自然風景更陰邪的氣質，每一幀都張力十足，比廣大煽情說教的平權故事更有效。畢竟，沒有傷害，怎能知道權利的重要。

典型裝腔作勢，端著架子爛掉的電影
